We make it easy for teachers

PilotCity started our 1st programs with teachers, and center our attention on working with teachers. Since then, we've made it easier and easier to participate as a teacher in our programs. Here are 6 methods we've created.

Quick Start for Students

Start with a 1+ min or 1+ hour experience for your students
Play our quick game where students solve real-world problems for employers they know, such as Instagram, Nike, or SpaceX. When you're ready to implement, we’ll provide an onboarding program for students to complete their first project in just 1 hour.

Aligned with Your Curriculum

Scoping projects to what you teach in your curriculum
By default, we align employer projects with what you teach in your class. Whether it's a specific tool, work product, or skill in your existing curriculum, we can easily map real-world employer projects to your goals and interests.

Pre-Made or Customizable Programs

We prepare programs for you (or you can create them too)
We collect existing programs or create them for you, assembling them in the sponsor link you share with students to start joining programs. You can also tinker with and create your own programs if you'd like.

1:1 Mentorship for Students

Your students get 1:1 mentorship and success management
By default, your students receive direct 1:1 assistance when they join a program, with mentorship from their assigned alumni team success manager. This includes support throughout the program, help with specific activities, and mentorship on their projects.

Continuous Support

We’ll check in with you before, during, and after your delivery date
PilotCity is committed to supporting you at every stage with check-ins:

• Before your program’s start date to prepare,
• During delivery with your students to provide assistance, and
• After to gather feedback for improvement.

Teacher Onboarding

Onboarding You With the Same Experience Your Students Get
Our teacher onboarding uses the same experiential format your students receive. This helps you acclimate to our platform while accessing key resources, such as pacing guides, sponsoring organization information, sponsor links, and tools for onboarding and monitoring your students.
